Antonia Lucero

Ma Antonia Lucero, 86,our much loved mother, grandmother and friend, left her loving family and friends on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by Jesus Lucero, her husband of 68 years, Son: Jesus Guillermo Lucero, Daughter: Martha Lucero, Siblings: Carmen, and Sixto Talamantes. Survived by her four daughters Angela Lucero, Isela Puente (Leo), Cecilia Lucero, Yolanda Valenzuela (Rick), Son: Roberto Lucero, and Sister: Alejandrina Candelaria. She leaves wonderful memories for her 20 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso who devoted her life to her family, and serving her parish of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Roberto Lucero Sr; Oscar Cardoza, Johnny Cruz Jr, Leo Puente III, Enrique Valenzuela Jr; Roberto Lucero Jr; Honorary Pallbearers: Federico Cardoza Jr; Antonio Puente, Gilbert Valenzuela, Guillermo Lucero, and Jesus Valenzuela. Special gratitude and appreciation to Yolanda Valenzuela, and Angela Lucero for their tender love, and care during her illness. Visitation will be held on October 30, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Hillcrest. Funeral Mass will be held on October 31, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00am with Internment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
