Anna V. Medina

Anna passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021. She was born on February 26, 1935 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Preceded in death by her husband Heriberto Medina, her daughter Addy Medina, and her parents Ruperto and Virginia Reyes. A proud Army wife Anna will always be remembered as the one person everyone could talk to or come to her for help. She was quick witted and had many stories and jokes she loved to share. She believed laughter was good medicine, as well as sharing a hot meal or cup of coffee with whomever sat at her table.

Mom cared for all of her children and the many friends they would bring home as if they were all hers. That undeniable warmth and love carried on to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as they were the true source of her happiness and strength. She persevered through all of life's ups and downs with her faith in God and her sheer will. A stronger woman you'll never find. Mom you will be missed so very much, but we carry you in our hearts forever. You were a special presence in so many lives. Rest In Peace now, you deserve it Mommy. Anna is survived by her children Otty H. Medina (Maryellen) of El Paso, Lizzette Howard (Robert) of Las Cruces, Jeanette Rodarte (Jose) of El Paso, Nicky Medina (Mayra) of El Paso.

Her 12 Grandchildren:

Charlie, Otty Jr., Stephen, Miguel, Nicole, Andrianna, Eric, NikkiJo, Miranda, Victoria, Hannah, Xean

and Nine Great-Grandchildren:

Lilliana, Jaelynn, Giselle, Grace, Nathan, Aubrey, Camden, Eric, Ethan.

Thank you to her longtime caregiver Bertha Martinez for so many years of care, love, and friendship. Thank you to the nurses of Ayuda Hospice, Venessa Ciriza and Leonor Rodriguez for their care and compassion during the difficult times.
