My sincere Condolences. So sorry for ur loss Esther, May God take care of her with his Holy hands in Heaven.   I no how much it hurts to lose a Mother,  at least u were able to share many years with her by ur side.  Many memories that will live on in ur heart forever.  God Bless u all.

My dear friend Esther and family, my deepest condolences on your loss. I first met  your beautiful mother when Esther and I attended school together. I was in awe when I found out she earned her GED when she was in her 80’s. I was amazed by her tenacity and wit. I proudly speak of her and her perseverance  when it comes to school. Age is but a number.  She has a special place in my heart and will always have fond memories of the moments I spent with her. 102, wow! Prayers in the wind for peace and comfort.

We met Ana and Esther at their favorite entertainment center, "Just Living the Dream."  She soon showed us exactly what that term meant to her.  She was just 98 years young then-a very competitive lady that enjoyed every part of her visit.  More and more of the other people soon began to look for their arrival and would stop by to pay their respects and share her joy at each winning point.  She always was happy to see everybody; it was as if she were a Queen holding court.  We soon became friends with them, sharing in each success and admiring the beautiful life they shared together.  Occasionally she would be called as a w
'winner' and she was pleased when others cheered her success.  When Covid 19 closed the doors of her 'domain,' we all missed seeing them.  We were blessed by then to have established a lasting friendship and kept up with their lives such as her joy of simple things such as a ride to see the sights of the city she loved.  We celebrated each year on her birthday - an amazing tribute to her stamina.  When she reached the century mark, we all wished we could have had a party to celebrate this special lady's life.  Our experience and friendship was shared with a sister/aunt in Illinois (she was 4 years younger than Ana) and she would ask about her and call her a role model for living life to the fullest.  Even as her health was failing, her spirit never did.  She kept up with family and friends through Esther and was allays happy when we would send our love in our telephone conversations.  We will miss this loving, joyful, competitive lady with a true love of life.  She was even playful with her Physical Therapist - planning to dance with him as he improved her mobility.    We are certain that God in Heaven has called her to brighten up the skies with her special star - Ana will always be one of the brightest.  Vaya con Dios, Ana.  Thank you for sharing your awesome life and positive outlook - you will be in our hearts and prayers.

Our beloved mother was a blessing. The memories I have is that she had a very strong in her character she said what she felt. We were always together until her health began to fail. She gave me the strength to never give up . I will miss her funny comments when she was in a playful mood. She lived her life to the fullest . Enjoy your journey with our Lord.
