Born on June 22, 1920 in Umpire, Arkansas; she was the daughter of John Wilburn Manasco and Hettie Kesterson Manasco. A seamstress, Virgie later in life was a sitter for her many friends. She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Virgie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 26 years John W. Bolding, a son Ralph V. Bolding; step-mother, Rosie Davis Manasco; brothers, Vestal, Luke and Ed Manasco; and her sisters, Eltha Parks and Deltha Farmer.
Survivors are her son, John M. (Cynthia) Bolding of Norphlet, AR; a brother, Andrew Jackson Manasco (Barbara) of Hendersonville, TN; sisters, Juanita Wright of Oklahoma and Nora Bradford of California, along with her grandchildren, Jill Ann (Mitchell) Johnson of Brandon, MS, Pam (Todd) Burke of Norphlet, Anna Marie Bolding of Norphlet, Vance (Deby) Bolding of Hot Springs and Becky Eason of Glenwood; six great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild; many nephews and nieces; and two very special nieces Rhonda Mullen of Athens, AR and Sandy Halter of DeQueen, AR.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Winston Roden officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are James Mullen, Bill Halter, Tom Bolding, Perry Bolding, Winkie May and Mike Meeks. Honorary Pallbearers are Marvin Hill, Lloyd Kesterson and Gene Baggett.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Young’s Funeral Directors.
