Born February 6, 1922 in Junction City, the daughter of John Foster and Bela Jackson Henry. Mrs. Beck had retired from Safeway where she was employed as a meat wrapper. She was a longtime member The Pentecostals of El Dorado.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Glen Beck, a grandson, Anthony Wayne Cribb, a sister, Reva Mae Mosley, and brothers, Weldon Robert Henry, Jo Byron Henry and Ray Harold Henry.
Survivors include her son, Glen Wayne Beck (Sue) of El Dorado along with grandchildren, Taffy Vickers (Tommy), Robin Hughes (Danny), Sherri Puckett (Phil), Laurie Shelton (Burt), and Kristie Hudson (Randal).
Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous friends survive including special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Richards and Mr. And Mrs. Roy Bettis.
Melba's family extends special thanks for the care given by the Hospice nurses and staff plus Olivia Garner and Patrice Brown.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, at The Pentecostals of El Dorado with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Fout officiating. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
