Kenneth Wayne Benson

Born February 20, 1962 in El Dorado he was the son of Kermit Harold, Jr. and El Frieda Marie Trouille Benson. Mr. Benson was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Wayne Benson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Lu-Ann Benson of Calion, two sons, Kenneth Wayne Benson II (Tiffany) and Jonathan Benson (Melody) all of Calion. Also surviving are three brothers, Phillip Benson (his best friend) of El Dorado, Robert Benson of Calion and Thomas Benson (Marla) of Norphlet along with a sister, Yvonne Head (Scott) of Little Rock. Surviving grandchildren are; Katie, Hana, Mariah (Jase), Kenny III, Karsen, and Kole, and great-grandchildren, Rosie, Grayson and baby boy on the way plus his two special fur babies, BB and Willie.

He adored his two boys and all of his grandchildren. He loved fishing, hunting, and being out on the water.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday June 3, 2023 at Grace Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Lowery and Monte Dinwiddie officiating. Cremation services entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
