Elizabeth Inez Taylor

Elizabeth Inez Sullivan Taylor, 96, of El Dorado passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. Inez was born June 27, 1917, to Thomas W. Sullivan and Jesse Sturm Sullivan in Missouri.

She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Taylor was an English teacher for the El Dorado School District during the 60’s and 70’s.

Inez was preceded by her parents; her husband John William Taylor Sr.; son John William Taylor Jr.; her two sisters; Christine Leggett, Louise Lott; and her brother, Thomas Wilburn Sullivan.

She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Joy (Bob) of Glens Falls, New York; her two sisters, B’lee Burger of Metairie, La and Merry S. Nicolaisen both of of San Rafael, CA, Four grandsons; David Krogmann (Amy) of Wilton, NY, Jason Krogmann (Carrie) of Queensbury, NY, John William Taylor III (Ashley) of Mansfield, Texas, and Marc Taylor (Tammy) of Richland, Washington, and five great grandsons; and four great granddaughters.

Services will be held 4:00p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Young’s Chapel with Celebrant Tommy Hubbard officiating.
