Christine Smith, 62 of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born October 16, 1951, to Christopher and Corine Rogers Hash in Farmerville, LA.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, Liberty Baptist Association, attended Immanuel Baptist Church Bible Study, and worked as a licensed beautician.
Christine is preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include mother, Corine Hash of El Dorado; aunts, Alice Rogers of Farmerville, LA, Maxine Taylor (Jack) and their sons, Don Rogers (Becky) of Homa, LA, and Dewayne Rogers (Morene) of South Carolina; an uncle Van Rogers (Laverne) of Bernice, LA and her cousins; Nita Jo Grigsby and her sons Steven and Todd Craighead of Farmerville, LA, Nancy Hash, Beverly Hash, Frank Hash all of El Dorado, Allison Ann Crow and her daughter Alley Ann Crow of Farmerville, LA, Johnny Hash (Pam) of Blevins, AR, Shane Wallace of Monroe, LA, Jimmy Hash (Davie) of Pampa, TX; and caregivers, Angela Pryor, Leann Miller, and Beverly Kilgore.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. tonight at Young’s.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014, in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Bruce Murphy and Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
