Bobby Gene McKinney, 68, of El Dorado passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Chi St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on August 2, 1956 to Hubert Lee McKinney and Louise Murphy McKinney in El Dorado, AR.
He was a graduate of Louisiana Tech, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and was a long time employee of El Dorado Chemical. He was a Boy Scout troop leader, loved to hunt and the outdoors. He was a loving son, brother and father.
Preceding him in death are his parents; a brother, Jerry Wendell McKinney; and his wife, Kelly Matochik McKinney.
Survivors include his son, Blake McKinney; his brother, Dennis McKinney; and his sister, Sandra McKinney McAllister (James); and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Young's.
A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Fout officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
