Benita Lawrence

Benita Ann Lawrence, devoted wife and beloved mother to three children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Benita, age 73, of Marysville, Arkansas, passed away on November 8th 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was born in Stephens, Arkansas to Roy and Mary Green on May 29th 1951. Benita was a devout horsewoman, a passionate dog lover and dedicated matriarch of the family. Benita enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends as well as researching her genealogy and doing all things horse related.

She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband, Jay Lawrence, her brother, Danny Green, son, Shane Faulkner, daughter, Brandy Williams, daughter, Stormy Riley, her grandchildren: Mykenzie Williams, Kameron Watts, Mariah Hicks, Reece Faulkner, Alexis Watts, Summer Riley, her great granddaughter, Kenzlee Hicks, daughter in law, Kisha Faulkner, son in law, Nick Williams, and grandson in law Cameron Hicks.

With heartfelt gratitude, we the family respectfully thank and acknowledge each and every one of you for your visits, calls, prayers and sympathy during our time of bereavement. We ask that in lieu of floral gifts please make a donation in our mother’s honor to the CCAPs Animal Shelter in Magnolia, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held on November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am at Stephens Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
