She is a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother (Granny Great) to her family. She was an avid reader and loved to cook and sew. Always serving and caring, she became an LPN and retired from the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was a member of the Smackover United Methodist Church during her time in Smackover, and Hope Community Church of God in Shreveport.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Corbin McWilliams, her brother, Oliver F. Jensen (Reese), and her great-grandson, Corbin Gulde.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sharon Walls (James) of Shreveport, LA, and Gail Church (Ken) of Laurel, MS; Her grandchildren, Heather Gulde (Clint), Melissa Burris (Trey), Brandon Church (Mary), and Brady Church (Carlee); Her great-grandchildren, Nathan Gulde, Esther Gulde, Mallory Burris, James Burris, Daisy Burris, Ainsley Church, Aiden Church, Etta Church, and Cora Church. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, as well as beloved friends who are like family.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Community Church of God, (3247 W. Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA) with Rev. Ken Church officiating. A private burial will take place in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
