Bill was a very dedicated United States Army soldier, he retired after 26 years as a Staff Sergeant (E6). When Bill was a young boy he had a dream, he saw a cross in the sky and he knew after that he had a mission to save human lives. He enlisted at the young age of 17 and began his career in the Army. Bill was a frontline medic in the Korean War (1952) and then the Vietnam War (1969). After Army retirement he also served as part of the Honor Guard with the 82nd Airborne Division.
I met Bill in 1992 at a family restaurant where I was working as a waitress. We dated four years then we got married in 1996. As a husband, Bill was loving and protective.
In the year 2005 doctors diagnosed Bill with mild dementia.
Bill is survived by his sister, Mildred Dulaney; Nieces, Connie Creal and Jane Dulaney, and Granddaughter, Angelique Singleton
