On, Thursday, December 24, 2020, LCDR Lovencie A. LeBoeuf (Frenchy), passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his three children Debbie LeBoeuf (Art), Randy LeBoeuf, Lynn Plummer (James), as well as two grandchildren Nathan and Savannah, in addition to nieces and nephews. Frenchy was born on August 20, 1927. He was born in Port Neches, Tx. He grew up with his mother Marion Gloede-LeBoeuf and Lovencie A LeBoeuf SR and three sisters Melda, Josephine, and Joy. At a very early age, Frenchy joined the United States Navy where he had a stellar career. He served on submarines and later on submarine tenders. He retired after 30 years in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. Frenchy married LaVon, the love of his life on February 17, 1952. They enjoyed a long loving marriage until her death on January 7, 2004. When Frenchy retired the from service the family settled in San Diego, Ca where Frenchy found his second career at Las Flores Tower Condominiums in Coronado, Ca. Upon retirement from Las Flores Tower, he and LaVon loved to go to the desert dune bugging, camping at the beach, and gambling at Laughlin, NV. Many fun and loving memories. Frenchy was a smart, honest, and loving man. He would laugh until tears rolled down his cheeks, talk to anyone for hours about anything, and most of all he loved to have his family around him.
