I am so sorry for your families loss. Im sorry we were unable to attend his celebration of life. Kevin was always kind and so supportive of my son Luke. Especially this year running track together.
It is wonderful to know he saved so many lives with his own. He is an angel donor now.

The last time I remembered seeing Kevin was when me and my brother Kain went to one of his track meets. We spent some time together in our hotel room with Auntie Tameka, Cidney and Chanel. Kain and Kevin would talk while me Cidney and Chanel would fool around. I remember us girls got our hair done by our Auntie Teeny and right after we went to the pool and Kevin said “ you guys really gonna get in the pool after you got your hair all nice and done” 

My brother kb was unlike anyone else one of the funniest people you would ever meet and a good gamer and football player to add he had talent and a big future. Kb was strong no matter you can’t break his mood he’s chillin listening to ebk. Since a young age growing up playing football you were a great friend and will forever be in my family and never forgot. 

Knowing Little KB was a blessing; watching him grow into a young Man was another blessing, and knowing his family was truly a blessing. God has spoiled me with thoughtful, strong and beatiful intelligent people, like Little KB in his family. My heart and prayers go out to all of you. To: Big KB and Tamika, yall did a great Job as parents, I witness two amazing parents raised talented and beatiful kids. Much love to the both yall and also to the Burton Family. Much love to your family too, Tamika. Love yall.

Words cannot even begin to say enough about the absolute heart shattering news of Kevin “KB” Burton Jr.. His memories posted here speak volumes about his lively character, inspirations, and aspiring ambition. May God continue to provide all of you with the greatest love, and strength, and the strongest bond to support one another during this unbelievable time. Your name is ingrained in your Falcon family’s mind. You were constantly shining bright on the field and you were recognized on that loud speaker more times than I can count. 

Martin-Chiles and the rest of your bros are hurting with your sudden departure from them.  Being teammates for nearly a decade is an amazing bond! You all went to separate high schools but the Falcon Family will always remain as family. From my family to yours, I send love and condolences.

I was fortunate to be Kevin's 3rd and 5th grade teacher. He was a wonderful student with a kind disposition and a sweet smile.  Kevin was a true gentleman at a young age as he was good-natured to everyone at school. He wasn’t excited when he had to sing in our class play, Grammar Island,  but he got through it and never complained (he would have rather been outside at PE.) Kevin was a gifted athlete and even though he stood out among others at school he did not brag about it. Ms. Champagne and I even got to watch him play football at Qualcomm Stadium. He will always be my one of my favorite 'Punctuation Pirates’.  Kevin and his family have held a special place in my heart since his first day in 3rd grade. 
Kevin, my heart goes out to your parents, your sisters, all your family and friends.  You will truly be missed. 💔

kevin and i went to middle school together. he was always the light of the room..his laugh was so contagious..so infectious. he always made sure I was okay before himself. if something was wrong, he would know. we would talk about it and then he’d always give me a hug afterwards. man his hugs were the best. i’ll never forget the first day we met..of course it was the first day of middle school..i was in 8th, he was in 7th. but we just clicked immediately. he’s an amazing person. i’ve seen many butterflies lately..i like to think that’s KB reassuring me that he’s okay..we’re gonna be okay. i miss him more than anything. i didn’t realize how hard his passing would hit me. love you KB..you are very much missed. i will FOREVER keep your name alive.

Kev ii js wanna start by saying I love you brother and forever will. I remember a longgg time ago when we played eachother in the jamboree n nobody won because it was a tie and you was #40 had that bald head and was the fastest on the field running all around the field. We was at parkway and anywhere uu went you was always using da curl sponge on yo hair it don’t matter if uu was in class, walkin to yo next class, or even at lunch. Then we almost missed promotion playing fortnite mobile we looked up and out whole line was gone. then we got to grossmont and we was fr twins we was always w eachother my right hand people was always askin us is yall  really brothers and most of the time we said yea. Over the years at grossmont as ur dreads grew so did your confidence and everyone loved your personality. KB the most nonchalant guy i will ever know but the most caring and loving son, nephew, brother, teammate and friend. KB thank you for blessing and touching my life in a way that no one can. Thank you for everytime you gave me a ride even if you didn’t want to I can’t even count how many times you done dropped me off and picked me up. All the times we had the aux battles we alr knew you was winning everytime always playin EBK. I knew everytime you was finna pull up bc ii could hear yo car from down the block and that’s what I loved. Kb thank you for being in my life and being me joy and happiness whether we was on the field on the track or just in class vibing and joking about any and everything. I would give everything and a lil bit more just to do our handshake again and you know i mess up everytime in the first time. I know your in a better place now and God and heaven has gained another angel please watch over me and be my Guardian Angel twin. May you RIP KB.

We will never forget Kevin’s name. Kevin was always known as a shy guy and not talking much in front of people. But when you seen the funny and kind side of Kevin it changes your whole view on him. Kevin was always the one to check up of you, always the one to come in clutch when somebody needed him, always there to talk about anything. There’s things i’ve told him and he told me that no one will ever know. There’s so many stories and trips we took that the world will never know. What the world will know is how much of a angel you were. I know for a fact that the world will always remember your name because we will never stop saying it. Through the stories we’ll tell our kids till the stories we’ll share with the world. Whenever Kevins name was brought up the gang smiled. You were the life of any party and if anyone wanted to have a good time they knew to go to Kevin. Kevin was the funniest, coolest, kindest, most caring person I knew and everyday it breaks my heart we couldn’t save you. Everyday I think about you and how easily this could have been avoided. Nobody is perfect but you were the closet to it. You set the example for all of us and will continue to do so. I pray this is Gods plan. I’m thankful I have had the chance to know you and be in ur life. You helped me in so many ways you don’t even know and I never got to thank you. You did so much for others not caring what they would do for you.
