Maxwell was born on June 18, 2006 in Edmonton Alberta Canada from a lovely family. His mom Xu Huo, Dad Zhi Li and brother Edward Li immigrated from China in 2001. He is not only the pride of his family but also an angel to the school and the youth community in Edmonton. He was honored by Edmonton Public Schools' Division Recognition of Service 2022. He was the junior volley ball team captain and has won the City Championship. He was elected to be the school student council student representative, City student council member and was an Edmonton Public School Board student senator.

This is a huge loss for our family. Maxwell was tall, handsome, smart, and kind. He was also passionate, humorous, and knowledgeable; he was motivated, and had great character. Although his life was short, he strived to live an extraordinary and unforgettable one. He brought happiness and love to his family, school and community.

Before he passed away, he was still working on the Stollery Children’s Hospital Bake Sale Fundraiser event for his school, the event was planned for May 26th to 30th. This event will still proceed. He has also organized the formation of the Edmonton Students Association (ESA). Our family, his classmates and friends will continue in his legacy towards helping and building our community.

We wish for Maxwell to be at peace and take his well-deserved eternal rest.

Maxwell lived as, and will forever live on in our minds and hearts as, a legend.

李霍达2006年6月18日出生于一个充满爱的家庭。他的妈妈霍旭、爸爸李志和哥哥李想于2001年从中国移民。他不仅是家人的骄傲，也是埃德蒙顿学校和青少年社区的天使。从小就热衷于公益事业,全身心投入去帮助有困难的人。他获得了埃德蒙顿公立学校 2022年度优秀学生社区服务奖的荣誉。他是学校少年排球队的队长，并获得过城市赛区冠军。他是优秀的摔跤手,获得三省联赛的冠军。他是优秀的羽毛球运动员。他多才多艺,擅长弹钢琴,弹吉他,是学校乐队的大号手。他心灵手巧,自己动手制做陶笛。他擅长绘画,他的画作在学校作为优秀作品公开展览。他还是一名优秀的辩论手,在老师同学的心中威望极高,被推选为学校学生会学生代表、市学生议员，并且是埃德蒙顿公立学校董事会的学生参议员。他是埃德蒙顿市学生协会Edmonton Student Association (ESA) 创始人。在他去世之前，他仍在学校为省儿童医院筹备烘焙义卖筹款活动。该活动计划于2023年5月26日至30日举行。公益活动仍将继续进行,他的家庭成员,老师和同学将会帮助他完成心愿。
