Marie Rhea Gagnon

On Tuesday, May 17, 2022 our mother, grandmother, sister and friend Marie Rhea Gagnon left us to dance with the angels.

Rhea is survived by her children, Maurice (Dixie), Pearl and Carlos (Jodi); grandchildren, Morgan (Jamie), Raymond, Jessica and Mitchell; brothers and sisters, Leon (Lizette), Paul (Jeanette), George ((Lenore), Anna (Albert) and Cecile (Jan).

Rhea was a wonderful lady who said it the way she saw it. She had a passion for music, dancing and outdoor activities like skiing and kayaking. She had an excellent work ethic and would never hesitate to help family or friends. Rhea was a talented seamstress with a flare for fashion. She was an amazing cook and it was always a pleasure to sit at her table. She had a wonderful spirit and an awesome sense of humour that was sometimes uncensored but always respectful. Rhea will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 1:00p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home (9810 - 34 Ave., Edmonton, AB).

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta (5757 - 4th Street SE Calgary, AB T2H 1K8) would be greatly appreciated.
