John Robert Warren

John is remembered fondly as a special person whom many loved as he made each individual feel loved and special. His grandchildren and great grandchildren gave him great joy.

John was born on the homestead in Porcupine Plains, Saskatchewan April 13, 1932 to Clarence and Mary (nee Kucherhan) Warren and had currently resided in Camrose, Alberta and previously Leduc, Alberta.

He is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Marion Warren (nee Earl), son Ross Warren and grandson, Michael Sparrow, and four siblings, Violet, Wesley, Elmer and Leonard.

He leaves to mourn his son, Darrell Warren and wife Heather Hamill and granddaughter Shalayla Warren; his daughter, Maureen Stewart, Melissa Sparrow and Devin Sparrow, wife Jaid Sparrow and granddaughters Emily and Olivia, Michael Sparrow’s sons Samuel Sparrow, Matteus

Daughter, Bobbie Glenda Cheryl Schmidt and her children Vanessa Cornelson, husband Brad Cornelson and children Keelan and Spencer, Joel Schmidt and daughters Ellie and Piper, Dustin Schmidt, wife Jaquelynn Schmidt and children Ezra and Autumn. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 6L1
