Jo-Anne Adam of St. Albert, Alberta, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side at University Hospital on December 17, 2024, at the age of 56. Jo-Anne was a selfless, kind, caring and dedicated woman - a loving wife and passionate teacher. Jo-Anne leaves an indelible impression on those who called her wife, sister, cousin, friend, and teacher. Jo-Anne's brilliant spirit, radiant smile, and compassionate heart captivated everyone who had the chance to know her.
Loving wife of Michael Adam. Jo-Anne was preceded in death by her mother, Doreen Rent. Survived by her sister Diane Ladeceur.
Jo-Anne was a proud member of her Teacher’s Association including current vice president of the Alberta Outreach Council and Communications Director of her local union executive. She was also a proud member of the Edmonton Blauen Funken Karnival Dance Group. Jo-Anne was a generous, supportive and caring billet mother for girls of the Edmonton Jr. Oilers White (U18 - AAA) hockey team since 2023 and a devoted friend to many.
Jo-Anne’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton (780) 454-9111.
