James Edward (Jim) Elaschuk was born in Calder Saskatchewan October 17th, 1928. Jim passed away March 22nd, 2013 after a brief resurgence of cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Helen, sisters Mary, Elsie, and brother Peter.
He is survived by his wife Fern, daughter Darlene (Ivan) Rebeyka their children Alexis and Jameson. Son Darryl (Shannon), and their children Cole and Chase. Brother, John (Anne), sister in-law, Viola Elaschuk, sister-in-law Darlene (Don) Mullen, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim will be sadly missed for his endless energy, zest for living life to the fullest and love for his family. We feel blessed and privileged to have his spirit live within us.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday March 26. 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810-34th Avenue Edmonton donations may gracefully be directed to the Alberta Cross Cancer Institute or the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.
