My heart goes out to Greg's family and friends for this terrible loss. We played many hours of basketball together at the BK courts and I remember Greg as such a friendly guy and kind-hearted soul. He will be missed.

Condolences to Anna, Alex, and Danny.  Had a lot of good times and memories with Greg. From growing up as young kids in burnwood, going through school, and growing into men. Greg had a big smile that I can’t unsee, and an even bigger heart. R.I.P my man.

My heart goes out to the friends and family of Greg O'Neill, a lovely kid who grew into a great and loving man. I have great memories of playing hockey together as kids that I'll never forget and will look back on fondly. Rest easy brother.

Greg we always had the best times man I can't think of one time we didn't have the best time together, lots of love man,  you were one of the best, always asking about how my son is doing and took interest in my life and family anytime we were together , when you were at my.house you always showed nothing but respect around us, took me into your group with open arms, had down to earth conversations, such a nice person inside and out bro, nothing but good memories, we miss and love ya homie RIP

Greg was one of my very first friends when we met in kindergarten. We eventually grew into different crowds but he always treated me with respect and stuck up for me when things went south. I have alot of found memories of him and I offer my deepest condolences.

Gregory was my very first friend in the 'whole wide world'.  As so many know, to know Gregory was to love Gregory. I am truely grateful for our childhood memories which consisted of adventuring, sleepovers, Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles, Land Before Time,Chip 'N Dale and so many more. Family was so important to him and he shared so much love with everyone he knew. He would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it, even if it meant him freezing. He was loved by all that knew him and gone much too soon. He will always live on in memories that I,now, cherish more than ever. My heart goes out to Anna, Alex and Danny in this devastating time.

Greg, as a loved son, brother, and nephew, we morn your loss, but celebrate your life. You had an impact, made memories, and will never be forgotten. I will cherish the moments I had as your uncle and hope you be able to speak to your father about his views on current Alberta politics, because they need a good Kevin rant.
