Gordon took great pleasure in his family, his wife Muriel, his daughter Judith, two sons Randall and Robert; his son-in-law and close friend Gerald Telidetzki, much-loved daughters-in-law, Kate and Mary; two grandchildren and two brand new great- granddaughters. All were a source of enormous pride and happiness for Gordon.
Born in 1931 and raised in Winnipeg, Gordon married Muriel in 1955. Working with the CPR, Gordon and Muriel lived in many of Canada's provinces over the years, with each of the three children being born in a different city, finally settling in Edmonton in 1973.
In keeping with Gordon's wishes, there will be no formal funeral held. Instead he would be honoured if his friends would remember him while enjoying a fine glass of wine. Inquiries or condolences can be directed to Hainstock's Funeral Home on 34th avenue in Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Gordon's name to the Edmonton Humane Society.
