Doreen Alice Madill

On March 15, 2012 Doreen Alice Madill passed away peacefully at the Citadel Care Centre in St. Albert at the age of 83 years.

Doreen is survived by her loving husband Orval, her son Ken (Sharron) Holmes of Calgary, her daughter Lynn (Ross) Algar of St. Albert and Orval’s children Sharon (Glen) Perry, Janice and Karen Madill. Also left to mourn are sisters, Tenny (Kathleen) Corkery and Helen Bailey of Lacombe. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many relatives and friends.

The families would like to extend our sincere thank-you and appreciation for the loving care given to Doreen by the Citadel Care Centre and St. Albert Home Care nurses.

A memorial service celebrating Doreen’s Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403-St. Albert Trail, on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice.
