It is with deep sadness the family announce the passing of Donald Alexander Schell, age 100 of Edmonton, Alberta. He was a Veteran of WWII stationed in England. Donald or “Mr. Fix It” was a Jack of all trades and could fix or build anything he put his mind to. He was well known and loved in the community, owning his own service station for 10 plus years and held many "garage sales" selling items he made and accumulated over the years. Family and friends were the most important thing in his life. Donald was independent up until two weeks before his passing, living on his own and loving life, he was able to drive right up until his 99th birthday. He had a great love of clocks and was able to fix and restore them.
Donald is predeceased by his wife, Aggie who passed away in 2009. He is survived by his children, Lynn (Paul), Gary (Lisa), Lori (Greg), Lee (Kyla) and June; grandchildren, Stacey (Grant), Brett (Leanne), Jaime, Brianne (Adriano), Jordan (Brittany), Morgan (Kelly), Tyler (Erin), Tyson, Colton (Audrey), Michelle (Steve), Keith and Adda; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brielle, Logan, Brady, Declan, Kaleb, Rylee, Quinn, Jack, Charlie, Noah, Theo, Makayla and Natasha and Don's brother, Jack (Florence).
