Dharmalingam Selvarajah

Mr. Dharmalingham Selvarajah, born on January 19th, 1937 in New Chemmany Rd. Nallur North, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, and a resident of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024 at the age of 87.

He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Dharmalingam and Mrs. Nallamah Dharmalingam, and cherished son-in-law of the late Mr. Mahendran and Mrs. Sironmany Mahendran.

Selvarajah was a devoted husband to Mrs. Mangai Selvarajah for 53 years. He is survived by his loving son, Mayooran Selvarajah, and daughter-in-law, Shankeetha Selvarajah. He was a proud grandfather to Keeran and Haran.

He was also a caring brother to his siblings, the late Tharmarajah, the late Mangayarkarasi, the late Dhurairajah, Puvaneswary, Thambirajah, Balasoundari, Pushpambigai, Gnanamanohari, Yogeswary, and Thayarathy.

He was also a supportive brother-in-law to Jayashree, Sivakumar, the late Thirukumar, Nanthini, Vasanthi, Indrakumar, the late Indramathi, Mathivathani, and Kamalini.

In the quiet moments that follow his departure, the weight of our loss feels immeasurable. Selvarajah's absence leaves an unfillable space in our hearts and lives. His laughter, his wisdom, and his unwavering support will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Both Services to take place at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton.

Visitation: 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
