Dennis was one of the most stubborn, bullheaded, yet compassionate people you could ever meet. He was a wonderful, devoted father, and a great friend to all who knew him. Dennis always put others needs above his, even to his own disadvantage. He was always cracking jokes and loved making sure everyone was having a good time. He could take your ear off with all his stories, adventures and shenanigans he experienced throughout his life. Racing, rolling over cars, dart competitions, pool competitions, woodworking, building caravans, RC Cars, becoming an arborist and so much more; If he didn’t know it, it would be long before he figured it out. He was best known for always being there to help, no matter who you were or what trouble you were in. If you needed him, he was there. He was loved dearly, and we will miss him.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Helm; his sister Dianne Rideout, his niece Denise Rideout; his daughter, Brooke Mol; his stepdaughter, Jena Leedham; and his four grandchildren, Tyrone, Michael, Talia, and Natalaya; and his cocker spaniel Dee.
He is predeceased by his biological father Dennis Helm, his adoptive parents, his best friend and brother, Daniel (Denny) Billey.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
