David Brinton Brown, 72—father of one, brother to three siblings, friend to countless many—has unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, August 30th.
David was a raconteur and adventurous spirit who was always determined to follow his own path. He loved convivial gatherings, music, delighting children, travel, and acquiring knowledge of history and other cultures.
His indelible, charismatic persona is now suddenly absent and his friends and family are endeavouring to make sense of it.
He was the son of Margaret Elizabeth and George Lish Williams Brown—who predeceased him. He was a brother to Gerald (predeceased), Yvonne, and Kenneth. He was a father to Brendan Brown.
David’s memorial service will be held Saturday, October 1st at 2:00 pm at Hainstock's Funeral Home located at 9810 34th Ave in Edmonton, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Red Cross in support of Ukrainian refugees.
