Anil Prakash

He will be deeply missed by his children, Sunil (Dean), Neeraj (Maija), Sanjay (Nina), Kaylah and grandchildren Kyla (Ryan), Indra (Bronte) and Nayan. As a man who deeply appreciated and loved others, Anil leaves to mourn many family and friends in India, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and around the globe. He was predeceased by his loving wife Sheila and his children Nisha and Ashley. Anil completed his medical fellowship in 1963 from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in London, England and began practice in the UK. In 1970 Anil began his practice in St. Albert until his retirement in 2012. He was loved and respected by his many colleagues and patients that he was privileged to serve. Anil embraced his retirement and traveled widely throughout the world.

A private funeral has already been held. A public memorial will be announced at a later date when family, friends and colleagues can once again gather.

The Prakash Family would like to extend their gratitude to the St. Albert First Responders for their compassionate care.
