I am just finding out obout Bill and I am so sad... I keep playing memories and long conversations over in my mind.We met in Tulsa Okla. He had just moved from  Topeka KS. we're he landed his first real job in banking as branch manager at a new credit union.  We met at his softball practice and became friends instantly,  moved in together and were inseparable for many years.  I am keeping  Michael and the hole Lavin family in my heart and prears. I was so lucky to have shared so very many wonderful times with Billy in Topeka for many, many years.....he was truly a gift to me and everyone he met.......his humor and wit were just crazy, crazy fun....🤣   ......

I met Bill thru the credit union, he was the CEO of Credit Union One at the time.  Oh what a character he was. I always enjoyed my visits with him he made me laugh and I always walked away with a big smile on my face. You will be missed. 

Bill and I were friends at Shawnee Heights junior and senior high  school, Tecumseh (Topeka) Kansas.  We spent a lot of fun times hanging out in the library ‘studying’ ha ha but really hanging out, I visited his house out near Lecompton and he took me on a tour of their barn that still hand hand written messages from escaped slaves hiding in their barn.  He was a good guy.

Uncle Bill, I love you so much. You are someone I have looked up to my entire life. You would make good days great and cloudy days sunny. I miss you. I don’t think I ever got to tell you, thank you. With out you I wouldn’t be here today. In 1980 you introduced a coworker, at the bank, to your sister. Those two fell in love and had a family. Morgann and I wouldn’t be here with out you. Thank you. Thank you for all the smiles, hugs, kisses, and thank you for letting me call you Uncle Bill. You gave me so much and never asked for anything in return. You gave me a dad, mom, sister, and Uncle Michael. Thank you. I know you and dad are talking it up in heaven. I love you. 

My Bill...I loved every second we spent together from Vegas to your and Michael's beautiful home in Frisco.  Your contagious smile, your warm cinnamon buns, and most of all your giving heart will truly be missed.  Prayers for God's strength during this time of loss for Michael and the Lavin family.

Sincere condolence to Michael and the family of Mr. Lavin. My heart is heavy and I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my longtime boss man Mr. Lavin. He was more than a boss man, I truly considered him to be a friend. I am a dedicated employee today because of the many things I learned from Mr. Lavin. Although I hadn’t seen him in a while my heart still grieves his departure. I will love you always and cherish the memories forever. Rest in Jesus Mr. Lavin! 😘

My condolences, heartfelt sympathies and support go out to Bill's siblings and his extended family -- but especially to Michael who lost his beloved husband and soul mate.  Hopefully he will be comforted by fond memories the two of them shared during their many years together.  I will forever remember Bill's humor, witty banter and so much laughter we shared.  Thinking ahead I will also miss reaching out to him while watching men's singles tennis matches during Grand Slam tournaments.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  Bill will be sorely missed. 

You will be missed so much, Bill! So glad I got to meet you a few years ago and get to know you and Michael. A trip I will never forget. I take comfort in knowing Ron and your mom are welcoming you into your new home. Miss you and love you.
