Teresa was born in Oklahoma City on June 11,1970 to the parents of Dyril & Vernona Robertson of Moore. She was employed at MTM Recognition for nearly 30 years, where she met and later married her husband Michael, on March 22, 1997, and had just celebrated 22 years of marriage in March.
Teresa loved the outdoors. Her favorite season being Fall, with Spring a second close. She loved the beauty of nature and wildlife. She enjoyed fishing tremendously and as a female even baited her own hook. She loved photography and was always taking pictures of things in life that she found beautiful. Teresa had a tremendous and beautiful heart and always had a way of turning a negative into a positive; she was the finder of silver linings.
Michael & Teresa were not fortunate to have children of their own, but Teresa became an elementary student tutor for several years, as way of giving back and helping those from broken homes, she was known as “The Cool Tutor” by her protégé, of which she dearly enjoyed spending time with over the years.
However, they did have fur kids or fids as she referred to them. The latest being “Gundie”, which she so adored and loved. She treated her just as, if not better, than a child. Nothing made her happier at the end of a day than the greeting and love she received every day returning home.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father Dyril, of which she has been reunited with and more than likely are talking about fishing, or possibly movies. She is survived by her husband Michael; Mother Vernona; sister Cindy; nephew Justin Perry and wife Samantha along with their sons Jack & Logan; nephew Mason Spratt and daughter Holly; aunt Marcia and her sons Kevin & Justin; cousins Mark and his children Renee and Jason, Cheryl & Blair and their children BJ & April along with a multitude of great aunts & uncles and many more cousins.
Teresa will be forever missed and always within us through our lives. God truly received an Angel already in existence we just never saw her wings.
Visitation will be held from 2-8:00pm Tuesday at Baggerley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am, Wednesday, June 6 at Baggerley Funeral Home with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery.
