Mark David Long, born April 18, 1964 in San Antonio, TX, died December 9, 2010, in Edmond OK at the age of 46. Attended Brownwood High School, Brownwood, TX. Mark was married 25 years to his high school sweetheart Kyla Bradshaw. They lived in Brownwood, Comanche, San Antonio, Arlington, TX and landed in Edmond, OK. Mark's passion was fishing and he and Kyla attended many fishing tournaments together. He was a member of Backwater Bassin as a tube fisher and a big Dallas Cowboys and OU Sonner fan. Mark is survived by wife, Kyla Bradshaw Long, two sons Quinn, 21 and Chase, 16. Parents Fred Long & step-mother Donella from Early, TX, and mother Elizabeth Jo Long of Brownwood, Tx. Brothers Bill & Phillip Long of Brownwood, stepsister Melissa Egger also of Brownwood, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends and his beloved basset hound Sadie-So-Long. Mark was preceded in death by grandfather VA and grandmother Lorene Long of Mineral Wells, TX. The Long family would like to extend a special thanks to the partners at Dunlap Codding, P.C. for their support. Mark will be missed by all and we can safely say the fish got lucky! A memorial service for Mark will be 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 14 at Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond.
A memorial service will also be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 19, at the First Baptist Church in Brownwood, Texas.
