Born to Willie Charles Daniels and Geraldine Frances Crawford on March 15, 1948, Margaret's journey was one defined by compassion and generosity. After earning her bachelor's degree from Central State University, she embarked on a remarkable 33-year career as a special education teacher. Her passion for education extended beyond the classroom, as she volunteered at an afterschool reading program, nurturing the love of learning in young minds.
At the core of Margaret's life was her family. For 54 years, she shared a loving partnership with her husband, James, and together they raised three children: Craig, James Jr., and Jamila. Margaret cherished the moments spent watching her children and grandchildren grow, finding immense joy in their accomplishments and milestones. Margaret's heart for service also led her to devote 15 years as a hospitality volunteer at People's Church. Through her efforts in preparing and delivering meals, writing cards and letters, and assisting with the weekly bulletin, she exemplified the spirit of selflessness and care.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Willie Charles Daniels and Geraldine Frances Crawford.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 54 years James, her three children Craig Reeves and wife Marlee of Oklahoma City, James Reeves Jr of Yukon, and Jamila Crawford and husband Phillip of Edmond, her siblings Danny Daniels and wife Bubbles of Tulsa, Willie Daniels of Tulsa, Marsha Guthrie and Husband Joseph of Atlanta. She is also survived by her seven Grandchildren Bree Aunna, Alexiss and husband Jamal, Keely, Joshua, Erwin, Cabriel, and Gabriel, and seven Great Grandchildren Cedric, Aunna, Ayden, Tatum, Raelyn, Lux, and Lennox.
