Mary E. Bailey

Born on August 10, 1951 in East Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rose Marie (Miller) Stumpp.

Mary was an amazing, happy-go-lucky, sweet, caring, beautiful woman. Mary was a lifelong resident of Monroe County; she attended Stroudsburg High School and worked for Resorts USA as a clerk for over 23 years. Before retiring, Mary worked with the Delaware Water Gap Recreational Park Service.

Mary was a devoted member of the Calvary Chapel Church. She loved to go camping with her whole family; she even considered it the “family reunion”, due to the amount of family in attendance every year. Mary also enjoyed gardening, playing candy crush on her computer, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be sincerely missed.

In addition to her parents, Mary had been preceded in death by her brother, Barry Stumpp.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons; William “JR” Pyatt, of Weirton, WV and Aaron Gromadin, of Stroudsburg, PA; Her grandchildren: Cody and Mikayla Pyatt, and Natasha Gromadin; Her siblings: Leroy Stumpp, of Ft. St. Lucy, FL; Donald Stumpp, of Kunkletown, PA; and Ricky Stumpp, of Snydersville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6pm at the Calvary Chapel Church, 146 Bossardsville Rd, Sciota, PA 18354. Cremation had been entrusted to the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the discretion of the family.
