Joan Dianne Place, 80, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Joan was born on January 9, 1942 to the late Vera F. (Decker and William J Notestine. She was the better half of David Cassidy, with whom she shared 44 years.
Joan is predeceased by her parents, and son, Jeffery and grandson Steven.
Joan is survived by David Cassidy; three sons, William and his wife Nadene Place, Dale and his wife Christina Place, Robert and his wife Ellen Place, as well as daughter-in-law Wendy Place, wife of Jeffery; ten grandchildren, Billie-Jo and husband Michael, Jamie and wife Marissa, Samantha. Jerry and his wife Rachael, son Jeffery Jr. and Steven. Dale Jr, and David, Rebecca. Robert Jr. and Corey and wife Kaitie, Jessie and wife Valerie, and many great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
