Robert L. “Bob” Haynes of Chattanooga passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home. He was an active member of Riverside Baptist Church. Bob was a 32nd degree Mason and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bob owned Haynes and Haynes / H&H Tire LLC.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie L. Haynes; parents, William David and Lula Elizabeth Haynes; eight siblings, John R. Haynes, Harvey Haynes, Marshall Haynes, James E. Haynes, Gene Haynes, Mary Kate Haynes, Dora May Collins and Teen Garrett.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Haynes and Lebron Haynes; two granddaughters, Wendy Haynes and Jennifer (Allen) Shipper; brother, Clifford Haynes; sister-in-law, Virginia Haynes; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Josh Parham officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Due to the current health crisis we respectfully ask that those attending wear face covering and practice social distancing.
