Ramon E. Andrews

Ramon Edwin Andrews, 82, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on November 19, 2024. Born on September 11, 1942, Ramon was a cherished member of the East Ridge community and a devout member of the Chattanooga First Church of the Nazarene.

Ramon proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971 to 1975, dedicating four years to serving his country with honor.

Professionally, Ramon was employed by Combustion Engineering, where he applied his skills and work ethic until his retirement. Beyond his professional life, he was an active and loyal participant in his church.

Known for his kindness and loyalty, Ramon was an avid reader and enjoyed hiking, exploring the natural beauty around him. His commitment to his faith and community was evident in all aspects of his life.

Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Andrews, and mother, Lucille Griffey Andrews. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, friendship, and dedication to his community and country.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 25, at 2:00 p.m. at National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his Church, First Church of the Nazarene, 5455 North Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37411, in memory of Ramon.
