Paul Herley LeDee

Paul served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Paul was born in Mallet, Louisiana on September 26, 1941 to Roy Paul and Ludy LeDee. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of OLPH Catholic Church. Paul worked as an engineer at Center Point Energy-Entex for 40 years until he retired.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Paul LeDee and Ludy LeDee, brothers, Fleming LeDee Sr., Roussell LeDee Sr., sisters, Ramona Thibodeaux, Marie Jean LeDee, brothers-in-law, Joseph Chenier Sr., Nelson Thibodeaux, Harold Eugene Muegge, Vernon Eugene Meyer, and Jose Richard Fernandez and sister-in-law, Ruby LeDee, In-Laws, Pedro Fernandez and Presentacion Fernandez.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janeth Fernandez LeDee, daughters, Debbie Broussard and Paula LeDee (Broadrick Ware), grandchildren, Winthrop (Cassie) Chavis, Benjamin LeDee, Bobby (Jessica) LeDee, Jennifer Broussard, Mikel (Megan) Broussard, Wilbrielle (Dedrick) Chapman, Paulette Founier, and Adrianna (Kendall) Journet, 17 great-grandchildren, brothers, Nelson Charles (Christina) LeDee and Dr. Mikel Andrew (MiSung) LeDee, sisters, Linda Faye (Jonathan) Standberry and Catherine LeDee Benson, sisters-in-law, Betty Jean LeDee, Beth Muegge, Jean Meyer, Caroline (Eddie) Fernandez, Liezl (Stephen) Ornopia, Precy Marie Fernandez, brothers-in-law, Peter Harry (Floramy) Fernandez, Kenneth (Jehan) Fernandez, God Children, LaTasha Benson and Roy Paul Standberry.

A Funeral Mass will be held at OLPH Catholic Church on Monday November 14, 2022 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday November 13, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. and also Monday prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am in the Holy Family Hall at OLPH.

He will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family wishes to extend special acknowledgement to Fr. Jude Thierry Jr. with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota, LA., Hospice of Chattanooga, Nu Life Senior Care of Chattanooga and Honor Care - Brenda Overby.
