Mary White, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011.
Mary was a native of Chattanooga, the daughter of Hugh A. and Florence E. Childress White. She was a longtime faithful member of Highland Baptist Church and a graduate of Central High School and McKenzie Business School. Mary retired from Erlanger Children’s Unit at T. C. Thompson after 25 years as a nurse assistant.
Surviving are her niece, Linda King of Rossville, GA; and cousins, Charles T. Childress of Chattanooga and Billy Childress of South Lake Tahoe, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday followed by Funeral Services at 3 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Circeo officiating.
Graveside Services will be at 1 PM Monday at Greenwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
