James Thomas Harris, 74, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on May 30, 2019 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia diseases. James was born in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to DeQueen, Arkansas where he grew up and graduated from DeQueen High School. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a prominent businessman. He was owner/founder of three companies here in Chattanooga, Building Services, Andy OnCall and Andy OnCall Franchising. He also served in many different groups and associations, such as, the Homebuilders Association, BOMA, Chamber of Commerce, and was a board member of the YMCA and the Chattanooga Ski Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nola Harris.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia “Jinksie” Harris, daughter, Tamara Harris, son, Scott Harris (Sonya Lee), a granddaughter, McKenzie Frizzell, brothers, John (Linda) Harris, and Pat (Mary) Harris, and many close friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Saturday, June 15th at 1:30 PM with Father Jim Vick officiating. Celebration of Life will be held at The Peyton on Broad Street on June 15th At 3:30 PM
