Sorry to see Gordy go so young, and sorry I will miss the services today. Gordy was a sweet guy, fellow bassist, and long time friend. Condolences to the family.

Gordie was one of the most genuinely kind people I've ever had the privelege of working with.  Prayers for peace for him and his family.

Sincere condolences to Chrissie and Gordy’s family.  I met Gordy through music in the late 70’s-early 80’s.  He was a good friend and a great musician.

There are no words to express the sorrow I feel to know Gordy is no longer with us. Such a kind, humble, talented man., awesome teacher.  He will be missed greatly.  Prayers for you Chrissie and family

Doug & I are devastated. We graduated from Notre Dame with Gordy in 1982. Gordy took time to be a friend to both of us. We are beyond devastated.

He taught my son the love of music. These were from him.

Gordy Nichol will always be in my memory as, not only a great musical talent, but as a kind hearted friend.  He was always happy to help out with a music gig when needed and he played all of the live Cowboy Jubilee radio shows to benefit Hunter Worley Foundation. He was always a gentleman and a gentle man.  RIP “Gordy” my friend .

My sincerest condolences to Gordy’s family. We were classmates growing up, and I remember his musical talent even back then. May his memory be a blessing as you grieve this unexpected loss, and may he rest in peace.
