Billie W. Blevins

Billie W. Blevins, age 91 of Chattanooga, died Thursday at a local healthcare facility. She was born January 10, 1920 in Meigs County, TN the daughter of the late Perry White and Bertie Ann (Stokes) Watson, she was preceded in death by her husband Doyle M. Blevins and was a member of Central Baptist Woodmore now Christway Church.

Survivors include daughters Audra (Jim) Howard of Chattanooga, Donna (Craig) Journey Angier, NC., Belinda (B.J.) Moss of Columbia, TN; grandchildren Melanie (Mike) Askew of Garner, NC, Lashon (Josh) McGinnis of Chattanooga, James (Christy) Howard of Chattanooga, Nicole (Jason) Raughton of Dalton, GA, Ashley (Chris) Cahill of Chattanooga, Matthew (Bethany) Moss of Mount Juliet, TN and Murphy (Brittany) Moss of Arrington, TN; great grandchildren Alex Askew, Hagan Raughton, Caleb Askew, Mac Raughton, Gage Cahill, Zac Raughton, Gracie Howard, Noah Askew, Allie Raughton, Cadyn Cahill, Sidney Cahill, Lucy Howard, Stryker Raughton and Addyson Moss; sister Josephine Stewart of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home 404 S. Moore Rd. from 12 -2 Saturday June 4, 2011.

Graveside services will be 2:30 Saturday at Lakewood Memory Gardens East with Reverend Josh McGinnis and Reverend Don Sapp officiating.

The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Orange Grove Center 615 Derby St. Chattanooga, TN 37404.
