He was born in Atlanta and lived in East Point. He is survived by 3 children, Lisa McKneely (Jerry), Deanna Smith, and Timothy Jayson Smith; 3 grandchildren, Allison, Katelyn, and Andrew McKneely; mother, Evelyn Parks; brothers, Tony Smith, Billy Smith, and Ron Payne; and sisters, Patricia Padgett and Samantha Smallwood (John).
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at East Point Church of God, 1857 Connally Drive, East Point, GA 30344. The funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00pm with Pastor J. Edgar Waters officiating.
