John Thomas Littlefair

He was born Nov. 19, 1942 in Sandwich, IL to William and Marvene (Eisenberg) Littlefair. He first married Cori Telling and she passed away in 1996. He later married Sylvia Huddlestun on June 11, 1998 in Olathe, CO. She survives along with John’s two children: Robin (Gregg) Owns of Arizona, Joel (Shara) Littlefair of North Carolina, two step-daughters: Crystal Dollinger of Rochelle, IL, Pamela (Jamie) Banbury of Maple Park, IL, six grandchildren: Megan, Andrew, Tyler, Rachael, Christian, and Parker. He is also survived by two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Dawn Sibenaller, and one brother.

John was a United States Navy veteran serving with the defense department during the Vietnam War.

He was a prison guard at Sheridan Prison for 16 years before his retirement.

He was an avid fan and collector of John Wayne memorabilia, and enjoyed collecting Christmas decorations. John also loved raising and selling horses (Missouri Fox Trotters) while living in Colorado.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
