Vincent Vinny M. Scarcella

Born December 15, 1984 in Lansing, Michigan to Frederick and Rosemary Scarcella, passed away at the age of 27. Vince was a 2003 graduate of Okemos High School. He held a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and a Masters Degree in Biology from the University of West Florida. He played GLAHA Hockey for many years. Vince loved to travel and enjoyed archeology, he especially loved animals.

Vince is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Arlo and Mary Kiesling and Anthony and Teresa Scarcella. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Scarcella; brother, Nicholas Scarcella and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 17, 11:00 a.m. at Okemos Community Church, 4734 Okemos Rd, Okemos. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Okemos.
