Trinidad Encarnacion Regal

Trinidad Encarnacion Regal, age 91 of Lansing, MI went to Heaven on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She was born October 27, 1930 in Chantada, Lugo, Spain, the daughter of Carlos and Concepcion Garcia. She married her husband, Alfredo, in July of 1948 and immigrated to Manzanillo, Cuba where all her children were born. In 1968, she immigrated to Lansing which remained her permanent home.

Trinidad was a dedicated wife, mother and Nana. Home was wherever she was. One of the ways she showed her love was through her Spanish/Cuban cooking which everyone craved. An excellent seamstress, she retired from Holden Reid Clothiers in Lansing. Following retirement, she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. A devoted Catholic, she was a long time member of the Church of the Resurrection. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, boundless energy and steadfast commitment to family.

Trinidad is survived by her husband of 75 years, Alfredo Regal; children, Alfredo (Miviam) Regal, Trinidad (Luis Felix) Fernandez, Teresita (Boyd) Parker, and Clara (David Pawsat) Regal; grandchildren, Miviam Regal, Marisel (Jorge) Hadad, Felix (Christina) Fernandez, Carlos (Stacy) Fernandez, Christopher Pawsat and Natalie Pawsat; 9 great grandchildren.

A Roman Catholic Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 29, 2022 at St Thomas Aquinas Church located at 955 Alton Rd, East Lansing. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am at the church with the rosary recited immediately prior to the Mass.
