Born September 11, 1917 in Flint, Michigan to Emery and Veronica Suhay, passed away on June 19, 2013 at the age of 95. Rose retired as a secretary from Dana Corporation. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was adored by her grandsons. Rose was a very generous and loving person. She loved to cook for her family and to spend time in her rose garden. Rose will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Hayes. She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” (Kathy) Hayes of Williamston; grandsons, Bobby, David and Jonathan Hayes; brother, Robert (Dorothy) Guidos; sisters, Dorothy (Dan) O’Brien and Rita (Bill) Kuchar and many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 22, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, , 157 High Street, Williamston with the Rev. Peter J. Clark officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
