Josephine Ann Rinehart

Josephine (JoAnn) Ann Rinehart of Mackinaw City, Michigan passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023. JoAnn was born in Detroit, Michigan, February 3, 1931 to Joseph and Henrietta Menoch. JoAnn spent a good portion of her adult life in Mason, Michigan where both her and her husband, Forest, were educators. JoAnn was a long-time active member of the Okemos Presbyterian Church until relocating to Mackinaw City. During her time in Mackinaw City, JoAnn was an active member of the Church of the Straits where she taught disciple classes and organized women’s bible study retreats for many years. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Rinehart and son, Charles Rinehart. Donations in JoAnn’s memory can be made to the Memorial Fund at the Okemos Presbyterian Church, Okemos, Michigan or the Memorial Fund at the Church of the Straits, Mackinaw City, Michigan.
