John M. Hauer

Passed away June 28, 2014 at the age of 69. John was born in Lansing, MI May 2, 1945 to Michael and Alma (Block) Hauer. He worked for General Motors before transitioning to real estate. John truly enjoyed life. He loved golfing, listening to music, following Spartan athletics and time spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed his winter home and his many friends in Naples, FL.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Beyer. Surviving is his former wife and friend, Jane Hauer; two sons, Johnny and Jason; nephew Steven and niece Beth and their families, and also many dear friends. He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014, 1:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI with Pastor Paul Lindloff officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, MI.
