Carol. He was born in Billings, Montana to the late Anton and Mary Ellen “Nellie” (Smith) Phillipson.

James was predeceased by his loving wife, Carol June (Smith) who passed away on July 29, 2012; his son, Thomas; Jim’s sisters, Pauline and Ada; and his brothers, Carlile and Richard. He and Carol are survived by their loving and grateful daughter, Ann Marie Phillipson of Tampa, FL; sisters/sister-in-

laws Virginia Smith Hazel and Priscilla Crimmins; cousins Caroline Lustig Trout and Dorothy Lustig Werner as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Jim and Carol will be held June 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East
