Bath, MI
Born September 9, 1953 to Emil and Frances (Koch) Fry, passed away after a short illness on April 19, 2013.
He was a member of the Hillsdale High School class of 1971 and a graduate of Michigan State University majoring in Building Construction Management. After graduation, Dave worked briefly in construction in West Virginia. He began his realty career in Hillsdale, Michigan in 1978 and relocated to the Lansing/ Bath area in 1982 where he became a well known and respected realtor. He and his wife, Paula, served the community as owners of Dave Fry Realty.
Dave loved his family and the many outdoor activities he engaged in with family and friends; backpacking, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, biking, and cross country skiing.
Dave was a kind and gentle man who loved to farm. His perfect day would be awakening to the songs of the birds, tilling the soil in his garden, and planting his crop. Dave loved to tenderly care and watch his garden grow; harvest time brought a special joy. A summer’s night gathering of friends at the campfire to sample the day’s pick of sweet corn, was his evening of choice. He will be sorely missed for the richness that he brought to the lives of all he knew. He was deeply loved.
He was a member of the Haslett Community Church and the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors.
