Virginia "Gini" L. St. John

Virginia was born in Middletown and was the daughter of the late Albert and Miriam (Johnson) Martin.

Virginia enjoyed her hobbies of crocheting, painting and making jewelry. She loved her family and was so excited to become a great grandmother.

She will be remembered for the song in her heart, her laughter and kindness. She was a bright light that brought happiness to everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her children; Shawn St. John and his wife, Mary Jane, of Garner, N.C. and Renee Gionfriddo and her husband, Greg, of East Hartford, her grandchildren, Tyler St. John, Chelsea Griffen and her husband Craig and Gregory II, and her precious great grandchildren; Travis and Elaina St. John, And Connor and Colette Griffen. Virginia was also predeceased by her siblings; William Martin, Guilford Martin and Patricia Martin.

Family and friends are invited on Monday, December 30, 2024 for a time of visitation from 4 – 7 p.m. and concluding with her Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m. at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
